What is alabastrite?
|

Alabastrite is our product line name for polyresin items. Alabastrite is a stone-based material which can be intricately molded producing great detail, and will allow paint to adhere. These items may be cleaned by dusting, however, they should not be washed with water as they are painted with water soluble paints.

What is hong tze?
|

To closely emulate a special stone found in China which is known for its deep red color, these items are created using an alabastrite polyresin. Hong tze pieces are highly polished, further bringing out the intense, deep red color.

What are my shipping costs?

Standard shipping fees are as follows:
Continental USA (48 Continuous States) - Our standard featured chess set shipping and handling rate is 15% of the purchase price with a minimum shipping and handling charge of $8.95. Due to weight a few of our chess sets may cost more to ship. Our Civil War chess set weighs in at over 11 lbs and therefore shipping is $14.95. Ground shipped orders may be sent via UPS, DHL or USPS. Rush orders are available at an additional cost.
Shipping rates for Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories are 35% of the total order with a minimum shipping charge of $14.95.
Outside The USA - Shipping fees for orders outside of the USA vary depending on country order destination. Customs, duties and taxes may also apply (please contact your counties postal office for details). When should I expect my order?

STANDARD ORDERS - Please allow up to 14 days for delivery on most orders. Some products may arrive separately.
RUSH ORDERS (within the Continental USA ONLY) - For most of our featured chess sets... Please allow 2-3 business days for order warehouse processing (sorry, this portion of the order processing) PLUS 2-3 days for the shipping portion of delivery. Our 4 player chess sets arrive separately and average 3-5 days for completed RUSH delivery. Our apologies, but we do not ship rush orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or the USA Territories due to the extremely high shipping charges involved. Some items may ship separately.
